The young woman’s eyes filled with tears and a little confusion as she said thank you and asked if he needed any sauce or ketchup with his order.
A little random of a compliment but still very sweet.
Or creepy. Or both. Sometimes it’s hard to tell.
You never really know though how small interactions are felt by someone else.
True, it could go either way.
I like to leave these things open to the interpretation of the reader, but as the author, I prefer the creepy interpretation.
Haha, that’s fair. I often prefer the darker interpretations of my writing too.
