Ouch. Maybe get off the painkillers…
Yeah! I was thinking of emotional pain when I wrote this one, and I think numbing to emotional pain can be detrimental, too, but now I think this story is more fun if it’s physical.
Lol I feel like it works with both. Numbing mental pain is truly the worst thing to do for mental health. If you don’t process something it keeps haunting you.
It’s interesting how that is obvious with respect to our physical bodies but so often gets missed with our mental health.
