Interesting paradox about “escape becoming a prison”. I see it everywhere in people’s addiction and such.
Yeah. It’s totally true. If one overdoes escapism, they fail to learn how to face difficulties, and that escape becomes a trap.

Umm why do I feel personally attacked by this one lol. I have some methods of escapism which are starting to feel like prison and it’s literally something I was just thinking about.
Lol. I was mostly attacking myself. I guess this is a common malady.
One of the reasons I started this website was to generate something productive and self-disciplined from my escapism.
