“Dad, why do you think the tooth fairy wants a stockpile of baby teeth,” six year old Miles asked, before adding, “it seems really shady to me.”

“I don’t know, bud, maybe she wants kids to feel better about their smile changing,” his dad answered, before asking in turn, “what do you think she’s up to?”

“I think she is purchasing teeth at bargain bin prices to harvest our DNA,” Miles answered soberly, causing his father to develop a new suspicion of the tooth fairy and a renewed one of his occasionally creepy son.
