+ In the 11th century, a cathedral was begun in a Romanesque style. Four centuries later, a Rayonnant Gothic Cathedral was finished and subsequently stood as the tallest building in the Christian world for the next four centuries.

This cathedral is one of the best examples of architecture and art in human history.
