When Bill invites Beth to a fancy luncheon, the WNYX staff question his intentions.

Newsradio (Season 1, Ep 5): Big Day

Mr. James delegates to Dave the responsibility of administering office bonuses – with the caveat that one person gets a larger bonus than everyone else and one person gets no bonus at all.

Newsradio (Season 1, Ep 4): The Crisis

When a NYC subway derails, Dave is determined that WNYX will the first news station with a live reporter on the scene. His efforts to make that happen are thwarted by office wide jealousy over Matthew’s new desk.

Newsradio (Season 1, Ep 3): Smoking

A new government ordinance means that Bill can no longer smoke at his desk. After first setting up a designated smoking area, Dave then tries to help Bill quit smoking altogether.

It does not go well.
