Duncan’s ex-girlfriend Anne reaches out when the child Immortal Kenny ends up in her emergency room.

Duncan runs into an old friend named Kit, while Amanda is visiting, and he has to keep the two of them from fighting.

Duncan is pursued by an Immortal who utilizes dogs to fight other Immortals. Richie finds the person who murdered Tessa.

Richie meets a mentally challenged Immortal, Mikey, and asks Duncan for help in protecting him.

Duncan and Joe encounter Immortal Andrew Cord being shot by a masked man – who turns out to be Charlie DeSalvo.

Duncan returns to Scotland for the first time in 250 years.
