Yeah. Sometimes hindsight shows us that the person pushing back on our thoughts / behavior was the only one showing us love.
Yea, I think sometimes people are blunt because they care and want us to be/do better.
Exactly. Sometimes tough love is not letting you drive off a metaphorical cliff, even though all your friends are doing it, too. You might not appreciate it in the moment, but you see it later.
