While watching Jurassic Park the other night, I noticed that Dennis Nedry’s dinosaur embryo theft cannister was a Barbasol shaving cream cannister. I have warm feelings for Barbasol and those feels were created by marketing.

Ten years ago, the greatest ad in shaving cream history began running on American television. I know many of my readers do not live in the U.S. Honestly, I’m not even sure you can play this YouTube video in your home countries. I hope you can though. I also hope your country has its own version of this advertisement, with unrelatably attractive blue collar workers, stirring music, majestic settings, and an inspirational smooth shave.
